A 20-year-old man is recovering in hospital after being shot in Darndale in north Dublin.
The incident happened at Marigold Crescent at around midnight last night.
After being shot, the man ran to a nearby house seeking assistance and emergency services were called.
He was taken to Beaumont Hospital where his injuries have been described as not life threatening.
