Two people are being questioned in connection with a shooting incident in Co Louth last night.
A man is in a serious but stable condition in hospital following the incident at an off licence in Dundalk.
It is understood a man entered the shop on Church Street and fired a shot at another man just before 10pm last night.
The injured man is currently in St James's Hospital in Dublin.
A man in his 30s and a 40-year-old woman are being questioned by gardaí.
