A 19-year-old man is due before Dublin District Court tomorrow morning charged in connection with a fatal stabbing of another 19-year-old in Dublin overnight.
The victim has been named as Alan Young from George Reynolds House in Irishtown.
Mr Young was found on open land which separates a housing estate on Bremen Road from the Irishtown sports stadium at around 1.20am last night.
He was removed to St Vincent's Hospital but was pronounced dead on arrival.
Members of the Garda Technical Bureau have carried out an examination of the scene on Bremen Road as well as two other locations.
The man who will appear in court tomorrow morning was detained shortly after the incident last night.
