Gardaí are investigating a shooting incident in Blanchardstown in Dublin last night in which a 22-year-old man was injured.
The man sustained a gunshot wound to the leg, but his injuries are understood to be not life threatening.
The shooting happened at around 11.30pm in the Whitestown Park area.
The victim was confronted by two men when he answered the door of his house.
Gardaí are carrying out a technical examination of a car which was recovered in a follow up operation.
