A 61-year-old man has been killed following an assault in north Dublin this afternoon.
The incident happened at Edenmore Drive in Dublin 5 at around 3pm.
A 33-year-old man has been arrested and is being held at Coolock Garda station.
He is being questioned under the Cirminal Justice Act and can be held for 24 hours.
The scene is preserved for technical examination.
