Gardaí in Dublin are investigating a serious assault on a woman last night.
They are appealing to anyone who may have been in the area of Mount Argus Road in Dublin 6 between 11.25pm and 11.40pm to contact them.
In particular, they are appealing for a cyclist who came to the aid of the victim to come forward, and to any taxi drivers who may have been in the area.
