An inquest into the death of a 15-year-old Dublin girl who died after being struck by a baseball bat has been adjourned because of an ongoing garda investigation.

Rebekah Kiely from Maple Avenue, Castleknock, was struck with the bat during a fight between two men outside St Brigid's GAA Club last November.

The Coroners Court heard she died in hospital two weeks later due to a head injury.

The inquest has been adjourned until 30 March.

Two men are before Dublin District Court charged in connection with the assault.
