Six people, five men and one woman, have been arrested after drugs with an estimated street value of around €6 million were seized in two locations this evening in Dublin.
Gardaí in Tallaght seized 26 kilograms of heroin with an estimated street value of over €5 million.
The drugs were found in the kitchen of a house in Colbertsfort Road. Three people, two men and a woman, were arrested.
Gardaí believed the heroin was brought in by a west Dublin drugs dealer for distribution in the Tallaght area.
Separately, three men were arrested when gardaí seized 180 kilograms of cannabis resin at an apartment complex in Clontarf.
The drugs could have a potential street value of €1.4 million and the men can be held for up to seven days.
