The man who ran away while being escorted by gardaí to a plane at Dublin Airport this morning is now back in garda custody.
The 21-year-old man was found shortly after 2pm in Dublin city centre.
He escaped across the runway as he was being taken to a plane bound for Frankfurt at 6.30am.
The airfield was then closed for half an hour as gardaí and airport police searched for the man, who is from Georgia.
As a result some flights were delayed by 30 minutes.
When he was not found on the site, the airfield was re-opened.
There were no flights diverted or cancelled as a result of the incident.
