A man has been charged with murdering five women in Ipswich in eastern England.

Stephen Wright, 48, is accused of murdering Gemma Adams, Tania Nicol, Anneli Alderton, Paula Clennell and Annette Nicholls.

The women's naked bodies were found dumped in various rural locations near the town, where the five had all worked as prostitutes.

Another man, who had been questioned for several days, was released pending further enquiries.
