Gardaí investigating the murder of Latvian woman Baiba Saulite have arrested two men.

They were picked up in Dublin around 7.30am this morning and taken to Malahide and Coolock Garda stations, where they are being questioned separately about the murder.

28-year-old Ms Saulite, a mother of two, was shot dead in front of neighbours as she stood outside her home in Swords on 19 November.

The suspects are being questioned under Section 30 of Offences Against the State Act and can be held for up to 72 hours.
