A quantity of explosives has been found during a garda search in Dundalk, Co Louth.
It is understood that around 5kg of ammonium nitrate was found in a rucksack on waste ground during a routine search by gardaí near the town of Killin.
Follow up searches have been conducted and are likely to resume again tomorrow.
No arrests have been made.
