The number of people who have died on the country's roads so far this month has, once again, been one of the lowest this decade.
19 people have been killed on the roads so far in September, which is the second lowest figure for any month since 2000.
The lowest number of deaths since 2000 occurred in August, when 17 people were killed.
276 people have been killed so far this year, up one on the same figure for last year.
