Gardaí in Limerick city are investigating an incident in which shots were fired at O'Malley Park in the Southill area yesterday evening.
No one was injured in the incident which began around 6.45pm when two masked men, both carrying handguns, entered a house and confronted an occupant.
They asked for an individual who was not present in the house.
They then went to a second house nearby and asked for the same individual who was not there either.
They left and fired at least three shots at the house they had initially entered.
At least two shots entered the house but no one was hurt.
