A Belfast-based human rights group has claimed that the poorest members of society in Northern Ireland are worse off now than they were a decade ago despite British government suggestions to the contrary.
The Committee on the Administration of Justice was referring to both the Catholic and Protestant communities.
It said British government polices were ignoring differences between communities and on occasion, exacerbating problems of disadvantage and communal division.
