Two men have been found guilty of murdering another man in an attack in Kildare last year.
Paulo Caesar Siqubria, 39, was beaten with a fence post during the attack in June 2005.
Jose Claudio Batista, 30, from Kildare town and Adriano Martins Costa, 26, from Newbridge, had both denied the murder charge.
The men, who are originally from Brazil, were unanimously convicted by a jury in the Central Criminal Court this afternoon following eight hours of deliberation.
A third man, 27-year-old Alessandro de Almbida Mata from Kildare town was acquitted.
