A former Irish rugby international has appeared at the District Court in Nenagh charged with drunken driving.
Eddie Halvey of Allendale Hall, South Circular Road in Limerick was charged with driving with excess alcohol in his system at Coole, Toomevara, Co Tipperary, earlier this month.
The court heard the gardaí are awaiting further instructions from the Director of Public Prosecutions in the matter and the case was adjourned to 16 June.
Mr Halvey was remanded on continuing bail until that date.
