Five people were arrested during an anti-war demonstration at Baldonnell in Co Dublin this afternoon.
Gardaí say the arrests were made after a number of people attempted to gain access to Baldonnell Aerodrome.
According to the gardaí, all the arrests related to public order breaches.
Cosantoiri Siochana, an anti-war group, had organised the rally in opposition to the use of Irish air space by the US military.
The organisation said 60 anti-war protestors took part in the rally, with over 20 of them dressed in white overalls with 'anarchists against the war' inscribed on them.
