A Russian rocket carrying Brazil's first astronaut has docked with the International Space Station two days after leaving the Baikonur complex in Kazakhstan.
The Brazilian Air Force officer, Marcos Pontes, will spend nine days on the ISS.
Two collegaues from Russia and the United States will stay for six months.
