The solicitor for the man convicted of murdering the former BBC presenter, Jill Dando, has said new evidence undermines the safety of his client's conviction.
Barry George was convicted two years after Jill Dando was shot dead on her doorstep in London in 1999.
He was jailed for life but has always denied the murder.
In 2002 he took his case to the Court of Appeal and lost. His lawyers are seeking a new appeal partly because medical reports suggest he was incapable of the killing because of his mental disabilities.
