Homeless people were due to stage a protest in Dublin this afternoon over the number of deaths on the streets.
The protest was due to leave the Garden of Remembrance on Parnell Square at 2.30pm and proceed to Leinster House on Kildare Street.
Homeless agencies say a large number have died from hypothermia in recent weeks due to the cold weather.
The protestors will also highlight what they say are inadequate conditions in hostel accommodation.
