Three men with Co Wexford addresses are being questioned tonight in connection with dissident republican activity.
The three who are in their 30s, 40s and 50s were arrested this morning, two in the Ballycogley area of south Wexford and the third in the Murrintown area.
Gardaí also found an explosive device which was rendered harmless by army technical experts.
The men are being held under Section 30 of the Offences Against the State Act and can be held for up to 72 hours.
