A 20-year-old Limerick man has been sentenced at Dublin Circuit Criminal Court to 18 months in prison for reckless endangerment.
Liam Keane of Singland Gardens, Ballysimon in Limerick was arrested on 16 January 2005 in Dublin city centre. He was charged with drunk and dangerous driving and driving without insurance.
Keane had 24 previous convictions, many for driving-related offences.
He also had his licence disqualified for five years and was fined €1,000.
