Southeastern Australia - Homes threatened in fire

Cooler weather and light rain has helped contain bush fires which have been raging through forests in southeastern Australia.

Up to 15 homes have been destroyed in the fire.

There has been some rainfall, but forecasters have predicted more hot and windy weather in the days ahead.

Firefighters have been facing walls of flame up to 30 metres high.

Investigators have said arsonists could have been responsible for some of the outbreaks.
