Police in Northern Ireland say they are treated a fire at a house in Derry City in which four people were injured as an arson attack.
Fire fighters were called to the house in Princes Street at around 1.30am.
Three men and a woman fled the blazing house, with two of them jumping from a first floor window to escape the flames.
All four were treated for burns and smoke inhalation, while the pair who jumped to safety suffered injuries on impact.
Fire station officer Brian Hasson said the people in the building had a lucky escape.
Mr Hasson told BBC Radio Ulster: ‘We established that a male and a female had left the premises prior to our arrival and that another male had jumped through the window. As crews were preparing to get a ladder up, there was another male on the first floor. The man jumped as well.’
Police said they were treating the cause of the fire as malicious and appealed for anyone who could assist them in the investigation to come forward.
