A court in Croatia has jailed a Croatian Serb for 15 years for his part in the Srebrenica massacre in Bosnia in July 1995.

Slobodan Davidovic was convicted of taking part in the killing of six Bosnian Muslim men which was captured on a recently discovered video.

He was arrested last June after being identified on the tape.

The video appears to show members of a Serbian paramilitary group unloading a group of Muslim men from a truck and then shooting them in the back.

Five men are currently being tried in Serbia over the same incident.

Davidovic, 52, an ethnic Serb from the Croatian city of Vukovar, was also found guilty of torturing captured Croatian soldiers in 1991.

Davidovic denies the charges. His lawyer said he intends to appeal against the verdict.

Nearly 8,000 Muslim men and boys were killed in July 1995 when Serb forces overran Srebrenica.
