Management of the Down Royal racecourse has confirmed that the code word used in a hoax bomb warning that disrupted last month's meeting was the same one used in a telephone call yesterday.

The Continuity IRA was blamed for disrupting the November meeting after what police described as an 'elaborate hoax'.

Spectators were evacuated and six races were abandoned yesterday following the coded bomb warnings but nothing was found.

The remaining six races took place this afternoon.
