The Australian media tycoon Kerry Packer has died at his home in Sydney. He was 68.
He was Australia's richest man with a personal fortune estimated at more than €4bn, made through television, magazine and gambling interests.
He became internationally known in the late 1970s when he took on the cricketing establishment by setting up his own test series.
