Two million contraband cigarettes worth €600,000 have been seized at Dublin Port.
The cigarettes originated in Dubai and arrived in Dublin by car-ferry via Antwerp.
They were found hidden in a container labelled 'waterproof jackets'.
The find resulted from intelligence and investigations are continuing.
