Police in Liverpool have been questioning a priest from Co Fermanagh in connection with a serious crime investigation.
Fr Jeremiah McGrath, who is 63, arrived in Liverpool last night after he was detained by police in Northern Ireland.
He has been suspended from his Rosslea parish until further notice.
Merseyside Police would only say that Fr McGrath was arrested in connection with an 'ongoing inquiry'.
