Two hurt in North shooting incidents

Two men were injured in paramilitary-style shootings in Northern Ireland last night.

A 27-year-old man sustained a gunshot wound to the leg after being abducted by a number of men in the Clanmorris Estate in Bangor, Co Down.

Police say he was placed in the boot of a car and was driven to the Newtownards area where the attack took place.

In a separate incident a 16-year-old youth sustained gunshot wounds to both legs after being forced into an alleyway in Carrickfergus, Co Antrim.
