A new European report has found a high rate of cocaine abuse among Irish teenagers.
3% of 15 and 16 year olds in Ireland have tried the drug compared to an EU average of just 2%.
The figures also show that the usage rate among Irish teenagers has increased by 50% since the 1990s.
The annual report by the European Monitoring Centre for Drugs and Drug Addiction says cocaine appears to becoming the stimulant drug of choice for many young people.
