The final day of the United Nations 60th anniversary World Summit is drawing to a close with progress reported on some issues.
However, the UN Secretary General, Kofi Annan, expressed regret that the summit had failed to achieve the profound change the world body needed.
Earlier in the week, ambassadors from over 150 countries signed off on a modest programme for reform of the organisation.
