One of the four people being questioned in relation to the disappearance of Co Wexford woman, Fiona Sinnott, seven years ago has been released without charge.

The man, who is in his 30s, was released from New Ross Garda Station shortly before 8pm this evening.

He had been arrested this morning.

The man is the third of a total of six people arrested in connection with the investigation to have been released without charge.

Three others, two women and a man, remain in custody but they have to be released or charged by midnight.

Earlier today, gardaí in Co Wexford said they are now treating the case as a murder investigation.

Fiona Sinnott was 19 years old when she went missing in south Co Wexford in February 1998.

She was last seen leaving a pub in the village of Broadway near Rosslare with the father of her 11-month-old daughter.
