Police in Spain are reported to have arrested an Irishman after the body of his wife was found at the holiday villa where they were staying.
It is understood police discovered the body after they were alerted to an incident at a holiday villa complex south of the city of Alicante.
The woman in her 20s appeared to have suffered injuries.
Three children were also in the house.
The Department of Foreign Affairs has said Spanish police are investigating the woman's death.
