Man released over Belfast murder

A man being questioned by police in connection with the murder of a man in north Belfast last month has been released without charge.

Stephen Paul was shot dead in Wheatfield Crescent on 30 July.

He had survived a previous murder bid six years ago.

Officers have also freed another man questioned in connection with the murder of Craig McCausland who was also shot in north Belfast last month.

Both men were killed in separate attacks which have been linked to a loyalist paramilitary feud.
