Pope Benedict XVI has condemned the terrorist attacks which have hit several countries in recent days.
The pope described the attacks as 'execrable' in remarks after saying the Angelus in Combes, his holiday retreat in the Valle d'Aosta in northern Italy.
Pope Benedict said his holiday had been troubled by the tragic
news about the attacks in different countries including Egypt,
Turkey, Iraq and Britain.
