A 19-year-old Co Antrim man has been charged with the murder of a Nigerian woman on the Spanish island of Gran Canaria.
Vincent Traynor from Loughguile was arrested last week in connection with the death of 23-year-old Stella Or whose body was found on Cochino beach, near San Bartolome de Tirajana, earlier this month.
A Foreign Office spokeswoman said he had been remanded in custody and is currently awaiting trial.
The spokeswoman said his next of kin had been informed and consular staff are providing appropriate assistance.
