A jury at Belfast Crown Court will resume its deliberations next Monday in the case of a 61-year-old man charged with the murder of a Co Tyrone schoolgirl who disappeared 11 years ago.
Robert Howard, with a former address at Main Street in Castlederg, denies the murder of 15-year-old Arlene Arkinson.
Earlier, the jury found Robert Howard not guilty of one count of perverting the course of justice.
This charge had alleged he committed an act intending to pervert the course of justice by telling his former partner's daughter to tell police that Arlene had not gone to Bundoran, Co Donegal, with him on 13 August 1994, when this had not been the case.
The jury of nine men and three women are still considering the murder charge, and three other counts of perverting the course of justice.
The jury has now spent more than 19 hours over five days considering its verdict.
One juror has an appointment tomorrow, so Mr Justice Hart asked the jury to return next Monday.
Arlene disappeared in August 1994 after a night out in Bundoran.
Despite extensive searches on both sides of the Border no trace of her has been found.
The prosecution case against Robert Howard is based largely on circumstantial evidence.
He has denied all knowledge of Arlene's whereabouts.
