Public sitting of Moriarty Tribunal next week

The Moriarty Tribunal, which is investigating payments to politicians by the former supermarket owner Ben Dunne, has announced there will be a public sitting of the inquiry next week.

It is understood the Tribunal has new evidence relating to a previously unknown meeting between Mr Dunne and the chairman of the Revenue Commissioners which was arranged by then Taoiseach Charles Haughey.
