The family of the murdered Belfast man, Robert McCartney, spent over an hour meeting the Taoiseach at Government Buildings this afternoon.
Speaking afterwards, Paula McCartney said they remained convinced of Bertie Ahern's total commitment to do whatever he can to support their campaign to bring Robert's killers to justice.
She also said they had total confidence in the PSNI in Northern Ireland and said that the intimidation of witnesses was still continuing.
They plan to hold a rally in Dublin in the coming weeks for their brother.
Robert McCartney was murdered outside a Belfast pub on 30 January. Members of the IRA have been accused of the murder.
