A jury at Dublin City Coroners Court has recommended that the transcript of the inquest into the deaths of three men murdered in car bomb attacks in Dublin over 32 years ago should be forwarded to the Taoiseach and to the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland.
George Bradshaw, Thomas Duffy and Tom Douglas died in the two bomb attacks in 1972 and 1973.
The jury returned a verdict of unlawful killing by a person or persons unknown.
The coroner Dr Brian Farrell apologised to the families of the three men for the delay in holding of inquest.
He said they should have been held over 30 years ago and acknowledged the grief and the sense of isolation the families had felt over the years as he said he hoped they would no longer feel isolated or forgotten.
