The former girlfriend of Ian Huntley, who was convicted of murdering two schoolgirls in the UK, has been granted an indefinite order protecting her new identity.
The injunction now bans publication of any details which could reveal Maxine Carr's new identity.
The order, which was granted by the High Court in London, was not contested by the media and Ms Carr was not present.
The judge said it was necessary to protect life and limb and the psychological health of Ms Carr.
In December 2003, the 27-year-old was convicted of conspiring to pervert the course of justice with Huntley, who killed Holly Wells and Jessica Chapman.
She provided a false alibi for Huntley by lying to police about her whereabouts on the weekend in August 2002, when the ten-year-olds were murdered.
