Two people were arrested after gardaí were called to a disturbance in Finglas in north Dublin this evening.
It is understood that up to ten people were involved in a fight on the street outside Gleesons Pub in the northside suburb.
One of those arrested had a hatchet.
No one was seriously injured in the incident.
Gardaí say they are maintaining a presence in the area but that the situation has died down.
