The Dublin Saint Patrick's Day Parade is to start from the northside of the city for the first time this year.
The parade will begin on Parnell Street North, and pass through the city to St Patrick's Cathedral.
The parade is the centrepiece of the annual St Patrick's Festival, which this year marks its 10th birthday.
The festival will run from March 16 - March 20 and is expected to attract over a million people, including 250,000 visitors to the capital.
Other features of the festival include the Skyfest fireworks display, live music, an outdoor céilí, visual arts and comedy.
