The Chairman of an Oireachtas Joint Committee inquiring into the Dublin bombings of 1972 and 1973 has said it is very disappointed at the lack of co-operation from the British authorities.
Deputy Sean Ardagh was speaking at a press conference where details of forthcoming public hearings into the bombings were announced.
Deputy Ardagh said the committee was not impressed at all with the British government's response and described it as very frustrating for the committee.
He added that the committee had written to both Northern Secretary Paul Murphy and PSNI Chief Constable Hugh Orde requesting assistance, but as yet had received no information from them.
The Joint Oireachtas Committee on Justice, Equality, Defence and Women's Rights will tomorrow begin hearing oral evidence from victims and relatives of the victims of the bombings, which killed three people and injured 185.
