The gardaí at Kilmainham in Dublin are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of a man in his 40s.
The man was taken to St James’s Hospital shortly before 8pm from Dolphin House in Rialto. It is believed he died from head injuries.
The scene has been preserved and a post mortem examination is due to take place tomorrow.
