Lawyers at a UN tribunal in The Hague are preparing to interview Savo Todovic, a commander of a Bosnian-Serb detention camp during the 1992-1995 war in Bosnia.
Mr Todovic surrendered to Serbian authorities and was transferred to the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia in The Hague yesterday.
The tribunal has charged Mr Todovic with crimes against humanity and war crimes for the killing, torture and inhuman treatment of mainly Muslim prisoners at Foca concentration camp.
