It is understood gardaí will tomorrow stage a reconstruction of the last known movements of the missing 11-year-old boy Robert Holohan near Midleton, Co Cork.
It is hoped the hope of jogging the memory of anyone who may have seen him.
An extensive search operation involving 600 people, including 40 Garda and army personnel, was carried out today but without any breakthrough. The search has been called off for the night.
Gardaí released a new photograph of Robert taken the night before he disappeared in East Cork.
The orange and white shirt he is wearing in the photograph is the same top he had on the day he went missing.
A picture of his mobile phone has also been issued.
Gardaí have appealed to white van owners who may have been in the area last Tuesday to come forward so that they can be eliminated from their inquiries.
They would also like to hear from a woman seen walking her Labrador dog near Water Rock on the same evening.
Robert left his home near Midleton in Co Cork at around 2.30pm last Tuesday afternoon. His BMX bicycle was found about half a mile away some three hours later.
