The search for a 24-year-old man missing on the McGillicuddy Reeks in Co Kerry has been called off for the night.
It will resume at first light.
The man, who is Swedish, set out on Tuesday morning to climb the Reeks.
He had arranged to send regular text messages to his family who are staying in the area.
However, the last message was received from him on Tuesday night.
